Shaanxi Provincial Library 陕西省图书馆
Shaanxi Library is situated in the Beilin district, around 6km north from the city center. It’s the earliest public library in the country’s western region and attracts readers from all walks of life. The building has a contemporary exterior design with a grandiose semi-circular entrance. Locals, especially students, are constant visitors of this facility, because it is one of the largest libraries in Xian. In 2009, the Shaanxi Provincial Library implemented an innovative technology to ensure easy access to their large collection of books. Apart from public areas for adults, there’s also a special section covering an area of nearly 800 square meters for children.

Tuesday to Sunday: 10am – 4pm; Monday: closed all day (during epidemic)

开放内容及区域：
1、开放部分图书、报刊借还服务；开放部分图书报刊阅览服务。讲座、展览、人员聚集性线下活动等继续暂停举办。各类线上数字资源和线上讲座、展览正常开展服务。 2、开放中文现刊报刊阅览区、办证咨询处、中文图书借阅一至五区。馆内其它服务窗口、读者餐厅、流动服务车、西大街少儿分馆、24小时自助图书馆、馆外分馆等均不开放。
